Shipping Methods & Carriers
BC Gems Company primarily ships orders using Canada Post with tracking to ensure reliable delivery. If you prefer an alternative courier, please contact us for a revised invoice.
In the event of a postal service interruption, we may select an alternate shipping method to avoid unnecessary delays.
Shipping Within Canada
For Canadian customers, we offer Canada Post Oversized Lettermail shipping for eligible items. This option suits smaller purchases that fit within a 20 mm (2 cm) slot and weigh up to 500 grams. Many customers choose this method because it provides a more cost-effective solution for lightweight or frequent, small orders.
However, we recommend reviewing the details below carefully before selecting this option.

Lettermail Eligible Items
Some smaller items qualify for Canada Post Lettermail. Look for the “Lettermail Eligible” tag on product pages. Only items with this tag qualify.
By requesting Lettermail, you accept a small risk, as BC Gems Company and Canada Post are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages.
There is a $1.00 packaging fee to cover materials, in addition to Canada Post postage.

Processing Times & Delivery Estimates
We typically ship orders within 1–2 business days, excluding holidays. At checkout, you’ll see estimated delivery times based on your selected shipping method.
Shipping costs calculate automatically by weight and update in real time during checkout.
Address Accuracy & Reshipping
Please double-check your address at checkout. We cannot take responsibility for failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
If an order requires reshipping, we will issue a new shipment invoice before dispatching the package again.
International Shipping & Duties
BC Gems Company ships worldwide.
International customers (excluding the USA) are responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, or related fees charged by their country. If a package returns due to refusal or failed delivery, we refund the product price only. Original shipping costs remain non-refundable.
USA Shipping & Returns
For orders shipped to the United States, refused or returned packages qualify for a refund of the product price only. Shipping costs and tariff fees are non-refundable.
Order Cancellations
We accept cancellations before order processing completes. Please note that we deduct a 3% transaction fee, as payment processors do not refund this fee.
Final Sale Policy
Once we process an order, all sales become final. However, if you experience an issue with your order, please contact us and we will assist.
